Sistinosis adalah penyakit di mana terjadi abnormalitas pada zat sistin. Penyakit ini sangat langka dan belum bisa diobati sepenuhnya. Sistinosis merupakan penyakit turunan dengan sistin diproduksi dalam sel-sel tubuh secara berlebihan. Jika tubuh kelebihan sistin, sel-sel akan memadat karena sistin akan saling bergabung dan membentuk kristal.
